Three Promises

I made three promises: to Sophie, to Gabe, and to my best friend, Joe Long. I promised to push myself to deliver these shoes. There were times it felt impossible.

By the grace of God, we’ve made it this far. Faith has carried me through this journey, and I’m grateful for every step forward.

Today, Sophie and Brittany wear the same shoes. Sophie, Gabe, and Joe each have a shoe named after them. Those names carry our story and the people we love.

Joe has passed away. His name remains part of this journey, and this chapter honors the promise I made to my best friend.
